about

Research indicates that today's students are not interacting as much with the natural world as they once did. This lack of communion with nature may be having adverse effects on student learning and behavior, as well as the overall mental, emotional, and physical health of our children. Through the 2008 Explore Your Living World interactive summer institute, students--grades 6-9-- will have the opportunity to cultivate, re-connect to and enhance their innate curiosity of the living world around them by actively engaging in hands on exploration and discovery in their local outdoor environment.
